Knicks win on an Alley-Oop with 0.01 Seconds left in 2OT

David Lee tipped in an Alley-Oop pass with 0.01 seconds left on the clock to beat the Charlotte Bobcats.

After review of the "red light", it was legit.

    Wow.

    Incredible!

    David Lee is the man.

Nice win with MJ in the house. Frye had his best game of the year, Curry was good, Marbury played very well as well, one of the better defensive efforts he's had.

I think you're missing the bigger point.

The Knicks won. That's the huge story.

The Bobcats always get things like this happening to them.

Is that TWO 19 REBOUND GAMES IN A ROW for Lee?

I love this guy. He is all hustle. Same with Balkman.

IT is a usless coach...hopeless GM...but man can he scout. His draft record is exceptional.

It stayed tied after the Bobcats turned it over and the Knicks recovered and called time with 0.1 left. The only way to score in that situation is a tip -- and that's exactly what the Knicks got.

              That's a quote from ESPN.

I thought the NBA had a rule where it had to be like .3 for a tip in and like .7 for a quick shot...or something.

Well, ESPN is wrong...it is impossible to touch the ball with your hand and change its direction and it be out of your hand that fast...I would believe its possible had he punched it it with a closed fist because it would have bounced off of his hand faster...and too, they started the clock late...I am watchign the Mavs game right now watching the tenths of seconds run on the clock...its not possible...absolutely not.

As much as I hate to admit it, this is the truth. The man can scout and draft. After he gets fired, someone should make him a VP in charge of scouting and drafting.

Change after to if, and the statement rings true

I remember the celtics did this same type of tip-in play back in 97 or 98, forgot what year, but it was pierce to dee brown or something and brown tipped it in with 0.1 sec left for the win.

You can tip it in whenever.

                              UF's finest, baby.

I'm really glad to see David Lee doing well in the league. Wasn't sure if he could make it as a PF... but the guy is a good all-around basketball player. He knows where to be on the court, knows how to rebound, and allows the offense to flow, as he's a great passer for a big man.

Not a bad first round pick from Isaiah, even though the guy is a moron as a coach and a GM. Him and John Weisbrod are incredible drafters (even though Weisbrod was only in ORL for a year, so it's kinda hard to tell), but horrible with contracts, trades and putting together teams with good chemistry.
