You guys miss the whole point of this, its for the FANS. If FANS want to see VC, they want to see VC. And no, you or you and a couple of your friends does not constitute as all the fans of the NBA. Are the FANS stupid? Probably. But who are you to say. You'll prob just shut up if Vince pulls off another 360 dunk on Kobe, and watch the replays over and over again, secretly ofcourse.

Penny did something similar to this a few years back, and the league appointed Tim Hardaway into his spot at the last minute, and then Penny decided he wanted to play. Tim was hot, and after the game Penny went back on the injured list, which is another reason Orlando booed him so much.

The league (coaches and press and players) should vote in 10 starters for each team.

The fans should get about 2 weeks to vote in the other 3.

It'll be a good process for those who folow the nba. But for those who don't, beyond Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'neal, and Kevin Garnett, the fan voting would still turn out upside down because 90% of the fan voting base doesn't know who those other "7 players and beyond are".


Why don't we hear compliants about the NFL "ALL STAR" game?

A lot of players don't make it in there either that are worthy competitors.

We're just making a big deal out of it. I'll enjoy either way.

Actually, I can't remember the last time I even watched a AS game. I watch the contests, and the rookie game is always cool.
