Re: Webber to be bought out?
Don't buy him out. The less money the Sixers have to throw around, the better.
Instead of making roster moves, perhaps ownership should consider making management moves. But I guess it's more fun to move players around instead of holding the people making the actual moves accountable.
Did they actually think Webber would be a good investment when they overpaid for his *** a few years ago?
The Sixers are easily one of the worst run professional sports franchises in recent history. It's pretty comical to watch. I'm waiting for them to free up cap room so they can go after another elder statesman of mediocrity. Replacing Webber will be a challenge, but if anyone can pull it off, the Sixers will.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

Re: Webber to be bought out?
Why is Larry Brown always so adamant about buying out players contracts? Doesn't CWebb have 2 years remaining?
Hang onto him and see if he has any (chuckle) interest around the league.Comment

Re: Webber to be bought out?
LOL, that pic always gives me a chuckle because of its history.
CWebb is pretty much dead weight in Philly. What I dont get is why LB wants to go from one disaster in NY to disaster lite in Philly.
Get BK out and things will slowly start getting better.Comment

Re: Webber to be bought out?
Whoa. That would be pretty hot. I guess Francis likes Larry. I'd love to see Steve in a 76ers uniform. Hopefully it would be a good mix though. Man, the league has been doing some major things in the trading and buying business. I wonder how long it'll take. Good to see Larry up there helping with the common sense problems. Still can't understand why they picked up Webber.Comment

Re: Webber to be bought out?
Official now it seems...
I wonder where he'll go? To the Knicks (he's close to IT) or to a contender?
He'd be great in the triangle in LA imo.Comment
