        Re: Tony Allen

I saw the game, being a Pacer fan and all and yes he was trying to show off.....Dude took almost a full 2 steps after the whistle blew......Hell, he got fouled at the 3 point line.......Then he cocked the ball all the way back, lol....I hate the see injuries, especially torn ACL's.......I've torn mine also and sprained both knees numerous times and there's no worse pain than knee injuries.....But, still, dude was a *******.....The announcer even pointed out how his teammates were looking at him when he was going up for the dunk and their reaction after he got hurt......All they could do was roll their eyes.....

yeah, I think you were talking about enhancement drugs and stuff that could cause all these injuries.

I watched it on the highlights page on nba.com. Here's the link:

He definitely was being an idiot. Other people do that all the time, but they don't seem to get hurt doing it.

I don't know if it was completely a moronic move, because all the time you see players going up after a dunk, or a shot after the whistle blows. It wasn't too likely he was going to injure himself, but it really sucks that it had to end this way.
                  He was playing so nastily.

Anytime a player suffers a season-ending injury after the whistle blows, it is completely moronic.

Especially when your team is already as depleted as the Celtics are.
