I don't think the Bulls want to trade Gordon and/or Deng. If they did trade them for Gasol that would be just as bad as the Elton Brand trade years ago.

If the Bulls could somehow work out a deal involving PJ Brown, Nocioni, Sweetney, Duhon and Tyrus, then a deal might go down. Not sure if Paxson would do it, but that's the only way I see the Bulls acquiring Gasol without giving up Deng or Gordon.

Ben Gordon is nothing special. Deng for Gasol is iffy. Deng is playing great this year.

Something like Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas and PJ Brown might make some sense. Gives Memphis two young players and an expiring contract. Chicago gets their go-to scorer they despritely need.

I'd trade a guard like Gordon to get Gasol in a HEARTBEAT.

Gasol has a superior post game and was superb for Spain at the worlds.

He'd complete the Bulls. Their balance with a genuine post guy would be superb. They'd go to another level. Like the Pistons when they got Sheed...they needed the post guy to go up a level.

So do the Bulls.

okay , i have to admit, i didn't know he was avg. 21 ppg. I'vee seen the bulls against the raptors. i like ben, but gasol is a superstar big imo.

I'll admit. It is a tempting deal for the Bulls. But for them to give up both Gordon AND Deng? Not going to happen. MAYBE...just maybe one of them and a draft pick for Gasol BUT it seems like the Memphis is asking too much.
