i can only hope that isiah makes brad miller into a bill laimbeer type player, cause the pacers are my team. speaking of miller i cant believe how much better of a pro he had become, he was nothing at purdue. that trade was great for indy miller and artest for rose. rose is good but he is not a team player.
To compare Ron Artest with Bill Laimbeer is BS!!

See Jake, I undersatnd you. Your a Pacers fan. See what isiah has done for your team?? They are tougher group of guys because of it. Artest has the potential to be a good player if he stays consistent. I however do not like his rebounding stats. very low. Brad Miller has played very well under Isiah. Isiah wants Miller to rebound, and score in the paint. And he has. Artest is your energizer battery, he just needs to get some control over himself, stay away from the coaches, fans, and concentrate on the opposing teams players. And if he can get his boards up to 8 a game, I would be quite impressed with him. But Oneal has been your most consistent player. I wish Wallace could score like him. And lastly on Laimbeer, most peolpe dont know that Laimbeer was a double double player. He had seasons of 17 points a game and 13 rebounds, went to 4 all-star games. (Should have been 5, can you believe that the year Laimbeer led the league in rebounding and was scoring 16 points a game they snubbed him?? because Bird was bitching and complaining)
So the next year they put him on... OUTRAGE!!!!!!!
Yea im still pissed after all these yearsComment

Yes the Pacers are a good team. And the Pistons are right there with them. No actually I live in Miami. Ive been a fan since 87. Ive had the pleasure of meeting both Isiah and Laimbeer. Two very nice people, but also two very upfront no nonsense guys. I will post a picture of me and Laimbeer and you can joke that i barely come up to his shoulders. The guy is huge.Comment

i grew up in terre haute indiana and larry bird is god there so i was always rooting against you guys in the 80s. but i did respect the pistons and loved to watch them play. i always rooted for isiah tho because i am a huge iu fan. i also really liked watching laimbeer play too, man he could really shoot. i think people forget how good a rebounder he was. all my friends really hated him, but i like to watch him play he was entertaining.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment
