He's not crying, he's defending his best player, which your poster boy took a shot at. Don't see anything wrong with that.

        Re: Cuban on D Wade

I hear alot of this Cuban should just shut up, and he's knocking his teams focus stuff.

But lets look at the super Wade for a bit.

He's picking a media fight with the Mavs, when the comments were not even directed towards the Wade.

Dirk commented on how the Mavs did not do what they should have. Not what Wade did or did not do.

Then, Wade turns around and yaks off about Dirk and leadership...

... Well I got two things to say about this.

        1) Miami is in the middle of a medicore season and HIS focus is on what happend lastyear.

        2) Earlier in the season Wade was asked to be a "motivational leader" and he decided to say he is not a motivational speaker, and they should look in the mirror and lift themselves up.

Good for Dwayne for not accepting a job that he knows is not in his personality. But if he does not want to be a leader, he should not question Dirk's leadership.

Regarding Cuban, the man is a blowhard, but hes also a genius. How else can you explain how he has gotten to where he is now. Business wise, and Basketball wise he takes nothing and makes it into something. I understand why people dont like his comments, but he has warrented the right to fire back.

          Re: Cuban on D Wade

Why shouldn't Cuban defend his best player? Wade is taking unnecessary shots at Dirk (I believe waiting 8 months to respond is unnecessary) and besides didn't Wade himself say he wasn't much of a leader. He wasn't doing much leading in the beginning of the year. Also If Wade has now been our designated Messaih, where was his thanks to the NBA officials. I wanted Miami to beat Dallas (because Dallas beat Phoenix and because I think Phoenix could have beaten Miami) I would be lieing to you if I said Wade didn't get the benefit of many calls.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

            Re: Cuban on D Wade

Who really cares? The heat are terrible without shaq and the mavs will never, ever, get over the hump and win the championship.

And while we are on the subject of freethrows, didn't dirk shoot more than the entire spurs team one game in that series? At least wade gets his fouls going to the basket. Dirt gets his shooting 18 foot jump shots. Are you serious? How on earth does a jump shooter (yes dirk is still a jump shooter) shoot that many freethrows against the best defensive team in basketball?

But on a serious note, the mavs will not win a title this year, next year, or the year after that. Between dirk folding up, shaq making dampier cry, and howard calling all seven timeouts in a row, it...will...never...happen.

Dirk took a shot at the HEAT BEFORE Wade took a shot at Dirk!

Dirk basically said the Mavs loss it rather than the Heat won it. Basically he said the better team loss. Maybe I'd agree with that if it were a 1 game like the NFL.

But no...7 games, the loser of the series have NO EXCUSE for losing the game. The better team won. Period.

You want to whine about fouls...whatever. But look at how much the Heat actually attacked the rim and look at how much Dallas attacked.

Like someone mentioned earlier... the Spurs and Mavs series had the Mavs benefiting from most of the calls, and I see BS calls every game, and some games I see TOO many BS calls.

Also, if you are a Dallas fan, why do you care? That was last season, and the Mavs are having a Great season this year, Okay the Heat won the 05-06 season and Fouls helped...oh well.

That is a flawed argument, not a basketball example but anyway, I'm a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan but we were not the best team last year in the NLCS vs the Mets, or the World Series vs the Tigers. We won it all but we weren't the best team, we were the best team for that stretch.

Just have to catch fire at the right time, a hotstreak can carry a team big time.

Geez... lighten up people... what's wrong with a little passion from the people who sign the checks. I think Cuban is refreshing. Sure, he's a turd at times, but **** IT... aren't you passionate about things you spend your money on??? He should say whatever the hell he wants... whenever the hell he wants.

The people who should stop talking are those who imply that he can't have an opinion because "he never played the game". That's the most tired *** excuse that is only pulled out to refute a point that is solid.

I wouldnt call this bitching. Bitching would be if Cuban did it out of the blue, because he felt like it. Dwayne Wade decided to bring this up out of the blue for no apparent reason, maybe reliving the good ole days when his team was actually a cotender. Cuban is responding to Wade's idiocity.

He's as respectful of a player as there is in the league and the last thing he will ever try to do is call out a player. Cuban's doing what he always does.
