I always liked Pistol Pete from the info I had heard about him and some of the videos I had watched, but that was the most comprehensive highlight package I've seen and I'm very impressed. Some of those passes are just stunning.

He was way before my time but it seemed he was a revolutionary when it came to highlight reel passes and plays.

Man imagine if he came into the league NOW, he'd be the most popular player and his rookie cards would be through the roof. It's a shame he was 20-30 years too soon.

Pistol Pete was the freakin man! He was one of the greatest to ever play the game. I was a small one when he was in his hayday, but I faintly remember him being talked about with the likes of Gervin, Doctor J, and David Thompson. Truly ahead of his time.

Pistol Pete was a treat to watch. He could do so many things with a basketball.

Pistol Pete was amazing. I want to know where he learned to do all the stuff he did. He looked like he could be playing at Rucker Park.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

And that was without a three point line.

I was thinking the exact same thing. He was the first NBA Rucker park style player. They have always been doing that kind of stuff at Rucker even back then so I am told. I caught many of the Rucker park greats back in the 90's. Tip Dog, Mike Boogie, the future, the Terminator, Dmac, Master Rob, Sam Worthen (Mr excitement) etc. What Pete was doing was just as incredible if not greater.
