Re: Spreewell breaks 3 point record

i completely disagree with some of you. I think the knicks should do everything in its power to make the playoffs. By giving up on this season makes them seem cheasy and cheap. What we should do is use that 4mill. that the knicks got for mcdyess getting hurt for the whole season, not just give up. I think the knicks have a good shot (if they continue to play how they are) in makein the playoffs this year and they should do everything in there power to do so.

as for spree going to LA..... that would be so horrible because spreewell is my favorite player in the nba and i hate LA with a passion

The injury exception ran out in December, can't use it now. I'm a huge fan, of course I would LOVE to see them make the playoffs. But, I do think that not getting into the lottery will set them back a little. Just my opinion.

I really have mixed feelings on it. I mean, I'd love to bring some excitement back to basketball around here, and having the Knicks playing for something. But realistically, we'd be looking at a 1st or 2nd round exit. We're still in terrible cap shape, the only way the Knicks are gonna be a serious contender again is through the draft.

Funny thing is it took Kobe 18 attempts to get his record (12?).

Which is why again I'll say, if good 3-point shooters were allowed to jack up 18 3's in a single game the record would be broken very quickly.

                WTF!!
You gotta be [censored] kidding me, spreewell a good 3 point shooter? His average at best.....just because he hit 9 in a row one game doesn't make him GREAT.

Well.. he's only a 42% 3 points shooter in his career. And that's actually very good.

                        Kobe's a 32% 3 point shooter.

Now picture a player like Predrag or Reggie jacking up 18 3's a night. The record wouldn't withstand half a season.

Think before you post , Yukk.. and do some research occasionally before you open your mouth.
