Truth of the matter is, none of it matters when you cannot lead your teammates and they become your scapegoat.

Im not even sure he wants to play with anyone who could take shine from him.

Kobe is averaging a full rebound more than Wade this season, so I'm not sure where you're getting that from. Assist/Turnover, yes Wade is better. Clutch play? Arguable, but either way there's no way Assist/TO and "clutch rating efficiency" is more important than Scoring and Defense.

Back then, I would say Gilbert was better than Michael Jordan, even though he didn't have the rings, MVPs, or other accomplishments.

Now that he's not having 50 point games, and his team is 4-6 in the last 10... I'm gonna be quiet.

But when he has another one... I'm gonna claim he's better than Jordan again.


At least, that seems to be the common trend around here.

Because we all know that Kobe has no accomplishments and no rings.

Where would MJ be without Pippen, Kerr, and Rodman. And last time I checked that girl who got "raped" had no case and it was pretty obvious what she was trying to do. I don't think theres many people that actually believe that he raped her.

I think Kobe is tops at the SG position other than Wade.

shaq won his 3 rings wth kobe and than 1 with wade.

duncan won rings playing next to another HOF Center.

Dirk hasnt led dallas to anything but to being season champs and look at the talent around him. he used to play with a 2 time mvp and couldnt win.


So again what makes these guys so much better than kobe? i dont see any of these guys you listed winning rings by themselves.

I can't believe you're arguing this, because Shaq PROVED it already. He doesn't need KOBE to win a title. A superstar guard that complements his game is enough. He won with Wade, whether you like it or not, that's a fact.

As for Shaq being abused by Hakeem the 1st time, doesn't even matter. He still got to the finals with Penny.

Just to answer the topic at hand Arenas wont ever be the best player in the game. I have certain expectations from pg's and Centers and Arenas will never help improve anyone around him to take him and HIS team to the finals or win one. Can't really say Kobe isn't trying to improve the players around him but the Lakers still lack a true pg that did what D. Fisher did and a bigman to play the triangle to Phil's perfection.
