watching the heat/bobcats game, 2 secs left, bobcats up 1...wade drives to the hole, they call a damn phantom foul on Raymond Felton, Wade hits 1 of 2 FT's........Bobcats ball at half court, Gerald Wallace drives the lane goes to the hole in almost a carbon copy of the previous play and no freakin call......same damn play, different sides of the court, of course D Wade gets the call....im sick of this BS, Wade is like the "DUKE" of the NBA....I dont dislike him right now, but it's hard not to after watching the refs call fouls on guys for looking at him wrong. Im so glad we ended up winning, I just had to get that off my chest......rant over.

This is what I don't understand. Why hate on the guy because of the referees? It's not like Wade is paying them. Hate the refs, hate Stern for trying to make Wade the poster boy of the NBA. Wade is a very talented player. He is a guy who goes hard every night, puts his body on the line night in and night out, and takes conact rather than shys away from it.
I respect the hell out of the guy and cannot understand the hate that alot of people have for him (the refs are another story).Comment

I like Wade he's one of the truly geniune good guys in the league but the kind of calls he gets just astounds me. He's getting the Jordan treatment in a lot of ways but I can't complain too much. The guy knows how to exploit things to his advantage and I give him props for that.

I agree. I like the guy, he's a good player. But if he really cared so much he would either come out and admit he knows he gets bad calls, or tell the refs to just stop.
