No, you were simply doing a little pre-emptive whining in anticipation of getting screwed over at a future date.

We are as tired of complaining about the officiating as the Rockets are waiting for McGrady to get out of the first round.

          This could be the year...

          But that's another topic.

San Antonio probably would have pulled it out if Duncan wouldnt have been ejected, but we dont know that. Games between these two teams are always down to the wire.

anyway, like i said, who cares if the Spurs would have won? it's not like today's game meant anything. I dont understand all of the complaining about a meaningless game. It was basically a "good practice" like Parker said. The standings were not going to change regardless of who won. There are 2 games left.
I don't think it was meaningless at the time, I thought the Spurs still had an outside shot at the 2 seed. Also, the Mavs didn't take the lead in the 4th until after Duncan was ejected. So what you should be saying it was meaningless for the Mavs.

once the game started the Mavs wanted to win because it was their last regular season home game of the year and it was against their main rival..but yea, it was meaningless for the Mavs as far as standings and the big picture go.

I guess you are right that it was somewhat important for the Spurs because they still had a very small chance of catching the Suns for the #2 seed. The game was certainly important for the Suns. They can rest their players now and get ready for LA or Golden State.

actually, i think the loss might have been a blessing in disguise for the Spurs, because they can now cut minutes in the last two games and get ready for Denver. and they will probably have a chip on their shoulder going into the playoffs, which they always play better with (especially Duncan).

ZB was just getting the whining out of the way so he doesn't have to later.
