If I am Garnett, I'd join SA in a heartbeat.

They need to just man up and trade him. They don't have the cap flexibility to build a team around him (not that they wouldn't F it up even if they did). He's not getting any younger.

I wonder how that would work out? Who would we lose to get him?

Two things need to happen, trade Garnett, fire McHale. The man got rid of a number of all-stars like billups, what an idiot.

Didn't the owner say something different? I think if KG wants out, he's out regardless of what McHale says, hence "we're not planning on trading Garnett".
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."

Lol. All-stars? You mean one guy. And yeah he's an all-star, but it doesn't make McHale an idiot. Billups was nowhere near as skilled as he is now.

I wonder how KG's career had of turned out if the T-Wolves had of kept Ray Allen all those years ago...

Retrospectively, he'd of been the perfect running mate for KG's career.

A clutch scorer and a guy to make teams pay when they double KG.

                    Could have been perfect.

(Ray Allen was traded for Marbury on their draft night)

Amongst my circle of basketball heads I was one of the few who thought that Minny was making a huge mistake. Not that I thought that Steph was going to be the problem child that he has been, just that Ray was going to be a better pro.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Would have been a lethal combo IMO.

KG can get a team to the last few minutes...Ray could have taken over come clutch time.

They could have built around those two for a decade.

I agree. Many people forget how athletic Ray Allen was before injuries. He'd take it in and dunk on you in a heartbeat. Could've been a deadly combo for sure.

Stephon Marbury, Jason Williams (back when he was good and yes I thought he deserved to be an all-star), Wally szczerbiak (he has been to an all-star game idk why), Sam Cassell just to name a few.

Jason Williams? None of the 3 Jason Williamses played for Minnesota. Besides, the biggest example of McHale being an idiot is the Joe Smith fiasco.
