finally, the draft class inport works from NCAA2k3 to NBA2k3. I downloaded the update from Xbox live and the feature is working fine now.

Like '3rdAnswer' asked ... do white players stay white and black players stay black when you import the players into NBA2K3 ??

I was sick one day, and spent the whole day doing NCAA 2K3 CB rosters...mine are about 90% accurate.

If Sega didn't fix that problem (the PS2 color problem) ... and it happens on the X-Box, the update is useless to me.

I drafted Nick Collison in the second round and he turned black, so i think the color problem still exists. Every player in the draft is black. I have yet to see any white players get drafted except the European players who are white in the game. I dont think any black players turn white, but all of the white players do turn black. That sucks.

How does a major feature like that get past SEGA before they put the game into production?

SEGA falls short again...

FIRST, every NBA player is not in the game, or even after the updates.
SECOND, one can't use the updated rosters for online-play.
THIRD, the whole importing NCAA CB players into NBA2K3 is screwed up.
FOURTH, the CAP mode is a joke...and only 10 spots, 30+ by munipulating the game...come on!
And SEGA wonders why sales are down.

Now I don't have any allegency to one company's games...I always want the best sports sims on the market. But after this year I don't know about Sega b-ball anymore.

Sega's, NBA2K3 & NCAA CB 2K3 are the best b-ball games this year...followed closely by NBA ID2003.

EA's, MADDEN & NCAA Football are the best football games.

Acclaim's, All-Star Baseball is the best baseball game.

But after all I've experienced with Sega over NBA2K3 and from what I've heard from friends, and from what I have read, NFL2K3 was a disaster.

I won't be suprised if I chose ID2004 or EA's LIVE2004 over Sega's basketball games next year.

And don't drop my 'jack' on another SEGA title until they get their act together.
