Re: Carlisle fired
Was not really a firing, both sides came to a mutal agreement.

Re: Carlisle fired
Wow... fired by two 80's All-Star Hall of Famers... maybe he should try Minnesota next so McHale can have a whack at him.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

Re: Carlisle fired
I agree 100%, this guy led a team through tough times and still kept them relevant. The Artest incident was a killer for this franchise, but its not like the Pacers front office shouldnt be held accountable for that awful trade this year when they brought in Troy Murphy and Dunleavy, once they did that they went from a team who played tough, stingy defense to a team that would rather not play any defense. Couple that with Jermaine's knee problems that seemed to last the entire season, and its no wonder they didnt make the playoffs. I will never understand why you sign Al Harrington and then trade him so quickly, and as much as I hate to say it, trading Stephen Jackson seems like a bad move also, almost like he provided them with some of the toughness they definently lacked when they threw Dunleavy and Murphy on the court.Comment
