If you think that game will be Bosh's legacy, you're clearly not that intelligent, considering the first thing 99% of basketball fans think of when they hear the words Chris Bosh is certainly not the 81 game.

On a side note, something people don't realize when talking about the 81 game, the Raptors strategy going into that game was to let Kobe get his and try to shut down everybody else. That strategy was working beautifully as Kobe poured in 28 in the first half, and the Raptors still led by 14 and built up a lead to nearly 20 in the early 3rd quarter. Then Kobe just got ridiculously hot, and started pouring in shots from everywhere in the court with two or three hands in his face.
It's like puoring gas on a fire then. Honestly, everytime I hear the name Bosh, Kobe's 81 points is not far behind. 20 years from now when your children will be talking about Kobe scoring 81 points against TOR.

Child 1: Man, that Kobe was great, he scored 81 points in one game second only to Chamberlain.
Child 2: Man, TOR must have suck back then. Who where the guys on that lineup?
Child 1: I saw that Bosh guy playing.
Child 2: Wasn't he a great player defensively? So what hapened?
Child 1: He got owned by Kobe.

What incredible reasoning! I'll tell you, nothing beats a well thought out argument like this, phew that's gonna be tough to argue against.
        NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
        NBA: Dallas Mavericks
        MLB: Texas Rangers

That is the truth man. I mean, if we talk about Chamberlain's 100 points, what do we have in mind? NY got owned and frag by Chamberlain single handedly. And usually, when we talk about Chamberlain's 100 points, we will also ask the question, who was the best player of NY during that time? Did he play that night?

Who was the best player of TOR that time?
            Did he play that night?

People who usually talk about achievements of a single player usually will just talk what they see not the details of what really happened. I am afraid that Bosh name will be string to Kobe's achievement because the history happened on his watch. If you are a team captain, you are pretty much blamed if something goes wrong even though you have nothing to do with it and the little guys are safe from being the laughing stock because nobody knows them or give a damn.

Teen 1: Bosh is one of the best PF in the NBA history.
Teen 2: Oh yeah, so what happened to him when the Kobe single handedly owned them in Hollywood?
Teen 1: Well, uhmm, well,... they held Kobe to 20 something points the following game they meet.
Teen 2: Yeah, after they got owned.

LOL What a ridiculous argument. Bosh is a 4, Kobe is a wing. If you knew anything about basketball you would know that Kobe owned our perimiter defenders, whom Chris Bosh isn't. The Toronto Raptors were the third best team in the East, while the LA Kobes barely made the post season. If you actually saw Bosh play a full game you would understand the impact he has on any game. Kobe lit us up last year, and he did score 81 points. But, to blame it on Chris Bosh simply because he was on the floor is ridiculous.

What in the world are you talking about? No one talks about which players Chamberlain dropped 100 on, and no one is going to associate Bosh with Kobe's 81 point game. Last I checked, Bosh doesn't guard Kobe. And do you even remember who was checking him? Was it Morris Peterson? Point is, no one cares. If you think people are going to be mentioning Kobe's 81 point game when talking about Bosh years down the line, you're crazy.

                    Yes sir. You told me!

But if Kobe does "own" Bosh, how come Kobe has nothing but high praise for the man, and was infact lobbying for him to be a Laker last season?

I am not saying Bosh is better than Kobe, Thats just dumb. But how come Bosh has to be tied to that 81?

I mean it was more or less Mo Peterson, and the other swing players for the Raps that got assed out that night.

Don't pay this guy any attention anymore his original post stated that:
"I did not saw the game when Kobe was dancing all over Canada on that 80 something points in one game, but I was just wondering where Bosh was during that day before I say "Oh my Bosh"."

So for this guy to claim it was Bosh's fault is like me saying Larry Bird was to blame when Ind St. lost to Michigan State in the 79' NCAA final. But I would never say that since I never saw Magic v. Bird for the National Championship.

Point is keeping your mouth shut when you dont know anything about something is a good idea.

Well, as we all know, whenever people think of Larry Bird, the first thing they think of is him losing the title game in 1979.

The thing is, NY doesn't have a great player on thier roster when Chamberlain owned them. If it was Bill Russell, you'd think it will not taint his name? The truth is, TOR became a part of history on Bosh watch. If the NY under Ewing allowed Jordan to score that much, do you really think the legend of Patrick Ewing wil be the same? And if Kobe only took most of his points on the perimeter, then don't tell me he only went to the paint six times? The truth is, Bosh is the best player of TOR when Kobe drop 81 points on them. For a person that loves Bosh, yeah, you don't care what happened, but from a standpoint of a person that is only familiar of the name Bosh but doesn't really care or know him, he will say something like this, "wasn't he the best player of TOR when Kobe dropped 81 points on them?". I know I did.
