Re: Matt Barnes needs to stop whining
"balling out of control"
"get some shine"
It's not a big deal, I'm not criticizing you, but I just get annoyed when people use this slang all the time. It's cool GSW, you are a cool guy and it's not a big deal, the slang just gets rather annoying sometimes.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Matt Barnes = The next player to get over-paid because of his playoff performance, and then disappear the following seasons...

Re: Matt Barnes needs to stop whining
But his bitching & moaning about Mo Cheeks is not a good look. Nobody here in Philly ever reported about Barnes and Cheeks going at it. I wonder why...hmmm...Comment

Re: Matt Barnes needs to stop whining
A little off topic, but is anybody else sick and tired of seeing the Warriors complain after every call against them? I love the Warriors, and the up-tempo style they play, but the whining and complaining after every close call gets old after a while.
First of all, it's disrespectful to the refs. Yeah, they make bad calls, but you know what, they're human. Showing them up after each one doesn't help you in any way. In the end, both teams usually get their fair share of "close" calls in their favour. More importantly, it hurts your team. In Game 4, there was a play where Stephen Jackson drove to the basket and had a (somewhat) valid case that a foul should have been called against the Jazz. Instead of getting up and continuing on with the play, he stayed down on the floor with his hands behind his hand as if to "you know what, blow the whistle any time now". Luckily, the one of the Warriors managed to recover the ball after Jackson fell and got fouled in the process, but if that didn't happen, you'd most likely have seen a odd-man fastbreak by the Jazz the other way.Last edited by y2dan; 05-14-2007, 01:33 PM.Comment

Re: Matt Barnes needs to stop whining
With Matt Barnes? I doubt that. After everything that came out with Iverson and Webber, Cheeks had his hands full with them. I doubt Matt Freakin' Barnes would get under his skin.Comment

Also, if you recall, earlier in the season he was upset because he was in the lower half of salary amounts on the Lakers but was a starter.I love me some me....Comment
