Am I alone in thinking this is a dumb idea?

Jack McCallum thinks that the foul out limit should be moved to 8 or just done away with to keep in star players. I think this is one of the dumbest suggestions I heard in awhile.

How about assessing a personal foul every time someone gets a technical foul.

Keep the foul out limit as is.

Also, give out more fouls for complaining about each foul call made.

It makes me sick to my stomach to see some of the teams whine about foul calls.

The concept of changing the limit from 6-8 is to keep players in the game.

Your ideas are designed to get them out. I am sure that over time your idea would be best for the league, but it might kill it before it made it stronger.

That's why the League is weaker than it was just 15 years ago. Always tampering with the rules.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Aside from Yao, most stars never get fouls called on them. Refs will just call it on the player nearest the star.
