Yeah, I'm sure everyone can catch the games, they're on television after all. But, you people behave as though he's been labeled a "dirty" player his entire career, when he's actually been called-out recently (either 2004-2005) or that's when the mainstream media picked up on this story. That Wally video is either 3 or 4 years old, but people act like it happened last week. Bruce wasn't, to my knowledge, suspend for that incident, just like he hasn't been for any of the other supposed "dirty" plays he's been involved in.
Yet, other players have a similar physical style of defense (Ron Artest and Raja Bell) and people don't complain. Why? Well, those other players don't make it deep into the playoffs and those guys don't play on the team people wish would go away (just admit it already). People use Bruce's perceived "dirty" play, Manu's alleged constant flopping (which isn't as bad as Oberto), and Robert Horry's unnecessarily harsh body-check on Steve Nash as a reason to hate the Spurs (or at least hate those 3 players) organization and ignore their dominance. It's sad, actually.
Also, you didn't answer why (a high-character guy) Michael Finley would play with a guy that he once called "dirty" in Bowen? Please, don't say that he did it just for the ring, because he had to have some measure of respect for Bowen to play with him.
