    Terrible comparison for 2 reasons.

    1. The two years before Jackson, LA got swept out of the playoffs. The three years after Jackson they won three titles.

    2. Jackson was a head coach. Horry is the equivalent of a trainer who happened to work with Phil.

A head coach has less to do with a team's success than a player who plays as much as Horry, and it's pretty wild to think otherwise.

reason #1 why Mike Brown made it to the finals this year.

Disagree. Look at identical Lakers and Pistons teams without Brown and Phil.

Sure I'd rather have a Shaq or Kobe over Phil, but a 4th option at his peak over Phil? No.

Agreed. Never thought I'd see a Robert Horry-Phil Jackson comparison, lol.

Yeah, Horry's good, but he's no Satch Sanders, or K.C. Jones.

Since you and Psy feel like making assumptions, can I assume you only hated the playoffs because your 'precious' Suns lost to SA and your hatred of Horry is stemmed from the foul(that you guys would like to argue was good basketball in the 80s and 70s) on Nash?

So, Horry was a bigger reason for the Spurs' title this year than Pop? Though I see your point if you take him getting Stoudemire and Diaw suspended into consideration.

No, you can't assume that because the playoffs as a whole were terrible. We had a horrible WCF and a horrible ECF, a SWEEP for the Finals, three sweeps in the first round of the East, and the ONLY game seven of the playoffs was a waste of time. There were barely any overtimes, and there was only one real memorable GAME.

And again, your assumption that I hate Horry because of the foul on Nash is completely off base. I'm not one of those losers who compare the past to the present when it comes to sports, because it's worthless to do so. There's a difference between a hard foul and a dirty play. So no, I wouldn't argue that it's "good basketball".

But no, my hatred for Horry doesn't stem from that play. It stems from when he was with Houston and carried on when he was traded to Phoenix and like a little bitch he threw a towel in Danny Ainge's face. Then he went onto the Lakers and naturally, I hated him because of that (not to mention his shots), and well, now he's on the Spurs and this postseason's occurances just cemented my eternal hatred for him.

I can't believe I even have to defend myself like this.

Well I can't speak for them but it was not exciting at ALL after the Spurs/Suns series.

Look I'm not going to continue to argue with you. You're obviously bitter towards Horry and the Spurs and aren't going to budge in your thoughts of Horry being a bad person(which btw, you are in the minority in that thought). Whether its warranted or not, I don't really care.

Horry's not 1/2 the player Jordan was.

Especially for showing his true colors this year in a punk move jacking Nash into a wall.
