Ray Allen To The Rockets??

I've read now on 2 sites about a trade between the Bucks and Rockets....the deal would involve Cuttino Mobley, Ray Allen, and some others.

Anyone else hear this?

hmmmm....Mobley for Allen would be bad for the Rockets, I think.

Right now, Franchise and Mobley are one of the best, and most underrated backcourts in the game. The reason is, they can both push the ball tremendously, and that fast-break style has become the staple of the Rocket's offence this year.

Allen is a guy who like to shoot the perimeter shot more, rather than drive. The trade (which I doubt has even a 5% chance of going ahead) would switch up the Rocket's offence too much.

skillz i agree with you on a couple of your points...but i think that this would improve the rockets offense....francis can create his own shot, teams would let cutino shoot thus cluttering up the lane-making it more difficult to drive or to play an inside game...ray allen with his deadly jumper opens up the houston offense allowing francis to be more cretive and yao to do his thing...but like you i doubt this will happen,but if it does great trade for the rockets

I think that would be a great trade for both teams actually. The Bucks are too much of a shooting team, they need a slasher-type players who isn't afraid of going inside and get fouled or dunk.

As for the Rockets, their game is too much ISO right now. They need better ball movement and to spread the floor better. With ray-ray, they can do that. Everyone knows he can shoot, so that will spread the floor a lot, and Yao can get him looks or passes on the money all the time. I think it would help the Rockets more than the Bucks, but still good for both teams.
