Thank you Mr. Wallace!! I thought Shammond was a pretty good back-up guard. First Kenny and Rogers, now this. I think the Pistons can take them this year!!!

I think the Celtics organization feel that Shammond Williams is an expandable asset now that they're beginning to play J.R. Bremer more. And I can't blame them for making this move. When the decision comes between keeping one of two guys who are at an almost equal talent level and play the same position(s), it makes more sense to keep the younger guy, which is Bremer.
Mark Blount is a good acqusition for what they need him to be, which is mainly an interior defender and rebounder to spare Tony Battie. I'm not sure why the Celtics got rid of Blount in the first place. Maybe some Boston fans and followers can answer this. And Mark Bryant was probably brought along this deal to make sure the salary numbers even out for both teams. At any rate, I see this as a minor, but good deal that should help out both teams in the long run.

Re: Celtics & Nuggets
Boston makes some strange moves. How can they go into the playoffs with Delk who was there back up last yr. and Bremer who is a rookie? And just to get Mark Bryant and Mark Blount? Odd.Comment
