If they sign GP after this season, Cassell will be traded. If they can't sign GP then Cassell stays. Either way, they wont be together after this season. IMO. -

Personally I dont think that Cassell is that great, and depth at PG is a great thing. Besides that, GP likes to play 2 guard anyway so its possible that if they are winning, both will be back after this year.Comment

I agree. If they can keep GP, they're better off with him. And I think Coach Karl like GP better than alien, I mean Sam Cassell anyways.
As of right now though, I think they can both start and be productive that way, with GP playing the 2. The Bucks look better.Comment

I think Payton is way better than Cassell. GP is called the Glove for a reason. He is also a better passer. Cassell thinks shot then pass. The only way I see it working for the rest of the season is if GP plays point and Cassell plays SG. On deffense switching GP guarding the SG and Cassell the PG.
On another note I'm going to miss GP playing in the West. I use to love watching him play agaist my team 5 times a year. But hey I get to see what these Ray Allen is all about

It's kind of sad that Payton got traded away. He's played his whole career in Seattle right? It would've been nice to see him finish it out with the Sonics.
