Kobe is tryin to get 15 40 point games for the shoes!

Just playin but it probably has a little bit to do w/ it. He has been playing great up until last night when he was obviously forcing shots and it was kind of disgusting to watch almost costing his team the game. Jordan made this nine game 40 point run twice in his career and here is the comparison of Kobe and Jordan's stats during there respective hot streaks.

    1990 Jordan: 43.7 pts 8 rebs 7 asts
    2003 Bryant 42 pts 5 rebs 3 asts
But for some reason I wouldn't mind seeing Kobe break Wilts record. I wish Jordan would have tried to break Wilt's record the way Kobe is trying to break MJ's.
