At what point was it not real? So let's say the 1982 Redskins didn't win the Super Bowl, or the '95 Braves didn't win the Series, or the '81 Dodgers didn't win it all. All those teams were champions in shortened seasons. But I get it now, if the Lakers would have won it that year then it would have counted right? My God, if the Lakers would have won it that year, all we would be hearing right now is, "Lakers for the 5 a peat." All you Laker fans would be running so much sh!t about the chance of a 5th straight championship it would be even more disgusting than it is right now. And if any of you deny this is what you would be doing, then you would come off as bigger jackasses than you already are.

Wow, if I or any Laker fan would have posted something like this about another team, it'd be an instant banning. Trust me I know from personal experience...

Why should it?? Should we put an * by every champion before 16-teams made the playoffs?? I mean back then they only had to win 10 games to win a championship. Why should it not count, Madskillz, I want to hear it from your keyboard, not anyone else's.

Saying that and saying it doesn't count are two very different things. I believe the biggest knock people put on the Spurs that year was that they did it post Jordan. People kept saying that they wouldn't have won it had Jordan stayed around.
