How many people are actually fans of

T-Mac or do they just like him in spite of Kobe? I've had the pleasure of watching T-Mac the times I've been in 'lando and I was amazed by him for 4 years now. However, he never got any props until now. On this board there seems to be an outpouring of T-Mac support the likes I have never seen since Kobe has gone on his recent tear.

So it brought the question..... Are people fans of T-Mac because they watch him play reguarly and go to games, or is it just an option for those who hate Kobe?

This reminds me alot of Mike vs. 'Nique. People were getting tired of Jordan's perceived "selfishness" and started trying to hype up other players they really knew nothing about?

I haven't seen him in person, since I live in LA. But I do have the league pass, and watch whenever I can. I like him. He has a great game, and seems to be a really nice guy. His game is what really stand out though. Super talented. I like him, and am a huge fan. I'm a fan of Kobe too though. Talent just stands out. And I am a fan of that.

Thanks for responding guys, but ive read some of your posts and you guys do come across as guys who respect talent. You guys aren't the ones I'm asking. There some other people (I don't know names) who are close to becoming fanboys and they are also those who hate Kobe.

I just don't think its right to hype one guy because you don't like another. T-Macs my boy, but Kobe is ill too. Along with Garnett, Dunc, Dirk, CWebb, Yao, ........

I love T-Mac. I like his laid backness, kinda like myself, and the game he brings night in , and night out, regardless if he has help or not. I enjoy watching his smooth sweet long stroke jumper from the top of the key, and I hate the fact that he doesn't get the hype buts deserves recognition just as much as other guys.

i'm a big fan of t-mac, and of kobe as well. tmac's style of play is great. it seems that him and kobe can do whatever they want to the defense. it's also pretty cool how they are friends off the court. i think tmac has got to be the most talented plaeyr in the league right now (along with kobe)
