But it sucks knowing that there is a very, very rare chance the the Champion this year will come out of the East...which is why the Finals probably will be boring...

Ok, here comes the Pistons slappy in me. On this trip, Seattle was a tough loss, but a good game. But, I took a lot of good things out of the Kings game. How do you win games in the NBA (especially the playoffs)? You dictate the style of play. The Pistons did that against the Kings. They made the Kings play their style of ball. That's huge. Does it always work? No. But, the Pistons WOULD lose 99 out of 100 if they tried to play Sac-Town Ball. It was a good game. They had a shot. Coach C made two big mistakes:

        1) Left Curry in way too long. He made nothing and Tayshaun played well when he was in.

        2) You gotta foul Webber when he gets hot. He beat them 3 straight trips on the same play. And my Great Grandma shoots better FTs then him...and she's got no arms!!

I think they need to play well the last 3 games of this swing, thank God that the Pacers and Nets are stinking up the joint, and try to steal One while they're here!!

Any of the teams that get into the playoffs can win the east. Regular season records don't matter in the east, if you are in you have a shot. No team is far and beyond that anyother one. ANYONE can win it.. Remember the 8th seeded Knicks(inmensly flawed team) getting to the finals on the strike-shorten season.
My 3 point only offense driven Celtics 2 games from the Finals last year? Raptors w'o Vince giving (Detroit was it?) a huge scare in the 1st round?

Its WIDE open. Makes for a very exciting playoffs!

Bucks lost!! Wizards need to capitilize and beat the Rockets tonight your time.

                    Pacers continue to suck.

                        New Orleans Hornets baby!!!!

Hornets have been plagued by injuries all year. Just now getting healthy and it is showing, having won 7 out of last 10. Mashburn is on fire, now just need Baron Davis to finally be healthy and I think Hornets have as good a chance as anyone else in the East.

It's still a little too early to declare that. They are still 4.5 games back and they have a tough five game road trip coming up (make that 4 minus the Nuggets) and then they play against Indiana and Portland coming back.
