    Poor guy

That really sucks you fall victim to hating him due to "hype".

If you notice, most people hate the players who are actually among the best.. Kobe, Lebron, Wade, people even hated Shaq.. said he has no skills hes just big.

i guess it takes a certain level of humilty and self awareness to be able to think for yourself.

ah well. sucks your missing out on a great talent because of some media contrived "hype" and listening to peoples negative opinions.

    more fun for me

    Youll get over it.

Been a Shaq fan since his rookie year, so naturally after the Heat/LA trade..uff the Lakers & Kobe.

I'm a bitter Nets fan. I hate our fanbase for barely showing up in the playoffs after years of being a doormat, the franchise for moving out of Jersey, and the fact a franchise of any sort will never be in South Jersey because of the bum-*** Sixers.

On that note..the Sixers. Ton of Philly relatives, hell, I've lived in G-town, but I'll always hate the Sixers.

hmm, Tyrone Lue tops my list...i can watch 2001 finals films when AI sonned him over and over again.

Im tryna think of some names people didn't mention,

Brendan Haywood, he whines and he hates on Etan Thomas , who is the man in my book.

Im a Cavs fan so if Anderson Varejao keeps holding out ima hate him too, not so much Pavlovic. Knicks fan also but Jared Jeffries is such a bum. Lindsey Hunter irks me for some reason, so does Jason Maxiel even though he does throw down something nasty sometimes. Joahkim Noah, even though he hasnt even played yet lol..some nights i hate Kobe but most i end up watching and ohhing and ahhing lol.

GSW. My point is in your post above, you include Lebron with Kobe, Wade, Shaq and you can even throw Jordan and Bird in that mix too(People hated them as well). Lebron hasn't won anything, his name shouldn't even be mentioned with those other guys yet. My point is let him earn his name, hate and tag lines. The problem with todays athletes is that a lot of stars don't earn anything, they get deals, big money and projected greatness based on media hype. No one hyped D-Wade, he earned his hype and his hate based on winning, along with Kobe, Shaq etc. Let "King James" earn something. As it stands now, Lebron is in the hall of fame already.

            Kobe is the man.

I think Lebron has done some amazing things his first 4 years in the league, i mean 27,6,6 a year while being focused in on everygame is pretty amazing and he hasn't even hit his prime yet..i mean to even get mentioned in arguments with those players names at 22 years old says something.

Lebron didn't have to earn his hype or hate but it is warranted. This argument can go on allday i've seen it many a time.

Yeah, Lebron is a great player but the hype is overdone. Again, he is 6'8 240, he is pretty much a power forward playing point/sg. The fact that he gets 6 rebounds a game is not that impressive to me because he is 6'8. Now, Jason kidd avg 6 rebounds or D-wade who is actually 6'3 avg 6 rbds a game would be impressive.

See, you say he's big and strong, and that's the reason for his ability to do certain things, but you don't mention the things he can do DESPITE being so big, such as his speed, passing etc.every player is gifted with certain skills due to their size (whether it be small guy being fast, or big guy being strong) but he does do a lot more than just that...

On topic, the Lakers, not so much the Spurs though.

Players: Bruce Bowen + Vince Carter

dude dominique wilkins never won anything either and hes in the HOF,

Lebron has broken so many records already due to his age... Records set by All Time GREATS

Kobe didnt earn his hype.. this dude was being called jordans heir apparent so many times before he even got legit starter minutes... is your memory that bad?.. Wade gets my respect the most nobody was calling him anything he MADE people respect him, and won a chip with shaq to boot... I rmemeber watching dwayne play in colelge him and diener, i knew he was gonna be good, but he just took it to another level...

                    Anyway,

Like i said it sucks if you hate him because the media is forcing you to beleive something, just watch him play. Hes seriously hard to hate, hes not a *******, hes a team player, and hes good..can be GREAT one day.

And honestly man, nobody has put lebron in the hall already.. but you cant deny the fact the skills he posesses could land him there someday.

yea man, thats like saying.. "I hate Baron davis because hes such a big point guard, he has no skill, hes just big for his position, and its unfair hes so fast and has excellent ball handling skills"

                      Thats faulty logic.

Comparing Baron Davis' skill level to Lebrons is like night and day. Baron is one of the best pg in the league and has one of the best skill sets in the league. The very things that you use to describe him in your post above is why he is one of the best, dribbling, speed, shooting, defense, etc...And this is on two bad knees that he has had major surgery on ( I watched him back in college as well, liked him then) So Baron has earned any accolades he gets, he is a seasoned veteran.

Your comparison to lebron is illogical. Lebron has no where near the skill set of a Baron Davis. It is not the same thing. Baron's skill set is the reason he is regarded like he is, it is not potential or hype. Lebron size more so than his skill set is the reason where he is. He has great potential, but the media has given him greatness without him actually having to be great. If and when he gets there it will be anti-climatic.

Lebron has skills without a doubt but he still has a lot to work on, nothing wrong with that, it's just the incessant hype and praise that I can't stand, he gets the respect of a player that has won something, he hasn't won anything. That is my point. If any young player is deserving of hype it is D-Wade, he has his ring and an MVP at a very early stage in his career.

I really don't hate Lebron its more so the Lebron hype.

Im not out to make fun of you or boost myself up...but dude your 100% *** backwards on this.

Lebrons skill set at 6'8 240 is EXACTLY what makes him a great talent.

Ball handling, supreme atheltic ability, Court Vision,Passing, quickness,Rebounding, supreme finishing ability, etc etc etc.

Yes, he has things to work on.. obviously a more consistent j and defense, but who doesnt at 22 years old?

Did you honestly just say LeBron has no skills, and that hes just big???...
