Can the Wizards make the playoffs?

Currently sitting in 9th spot in the East, a half game behind the Bucks and a game behind the Magic...can they push into the top 8?

I think both the Bucks and Magic got better after the trades that happened on the deadline. The Magic have since gone on a 4 game winning streak and look certainties for playoff action.

The Bucks though.... can so many small guards and swingmen get them into the playoffs. Redd, Cassell, Payton, D-Mase and Kukoc. That's a lot of firepower but they have no inside help.

The Wizards probably have the worst schedule of the 3 teams but you cant count out Jordan and of late they have been playing pretty well.

Thoughts?

I don't see the Bucks slipping now that they appear to be on track. Payton will keep them in the 8th spot or higher.

i do think they can make the playoffs IF the Bucks keep slipping and if they can get MJ(recently injured his thigh), Hughes and the gang healthy and keep winning games and maybe even go on a little streak. Plus u can rest assured MJ will do everything he can to get his team to the playoffs before he finally retires. If they do make the playoffs though, i don't think they'll get any higher than the 8th spot. As a Wizards fan, i can only hope for the best

i do think they can make the playoffs IF the Bucks keep slipping and if they can get MJ(recently injured his thigh), Hughes and the gang healthy and keep winning games and maybe even go on a little streak. Plus u can rest assured MJ will do everything he can to get his team to the playoffs before he finally retires. If they do make the playoffs though, i don't think they'll get any higher than the 8th spot. As a Wizards fan, i can only hope for the best

i hope so, i heard when the wizards make the playoffs there is a chance that MJ would return again for another season at the same time it's nice to watch MJ back in the playoffs and how he carries his team there! i just hope they will make it!

I just hope the Rockets make it a little harder for them to do so by beating them tonight. I don't think MJ is going to play, too bad because it would be nice to see him and Yao.

It would definitely make the playoffs more compelling with Jordan and the Wizards in.

I think they have a chance...but ya never know. Tonight's game against the Rockets is huge...they need to win...is Jordan playing tonight or is he questionable?

It would be nice to see the Wizards make a run and then get in the playoffs.

One last chance to see Jordan in the playoffs.

Even at 40, given the chance, I'm sure Jordan would step it up in the playoffs just a notch.
