    **11/7 games thread**

How in the blue hell are the Clips winning? I had then pegged as one of the worst teams in the west. Certainly worse than the Warriors. I know it's early in the season, but still. Wow.

    Manu looks GREAT.

Shaq looks older than I thought. Things don't look good for the Heat. He just stands there and passes out of the double team.

    Nuggets-overrated

    Celtics-'nuff said. they look great.

Warriors seem to be playing too out of control this season. I guess it worked for them against Dallas, and there still is plenty of time to the season.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Yeah, they are in the same position as Chicago, Washington and Miami. The league got better this year and wins won't be as easy to come by if you dig yourself into a hole. It's not so much about Ws and Ls this early, it's about playing well. They have to start playing well soon or they'll find themselves on the outside looking in. The team they really need to be wary of is New Orleans. That team has been hovering near the edge of the playoffs in years when they were decimated with injury. They're healthy, hungry, talented, tall and playing well. They could very well take that last playoff spot.

Lebron just did something grody. He had his mouthpiece tucked into his headband while it was on is head. Then he pulls his mouthpiece from between his hair and his sweatband and puts it directly into his mouth. Ewww. That is disgusting. That's like when Nash likes his hands and then touches the bottom of his sneakers. Then later in the game he licks his hands again. Just nasty. I wouldn't let these cats eat out of my popcorn bag. After they reach in I'm not hungry anymore.

Sorry for the tangent, but that was too gross to let go.

If they weren't in the brutal Southwestern division, N.O. might challenge for the 4th or 5th spot, but they're going to lose too many games within their own division to finish that high.

Hey Heat fans, how do you guys like Smush Parker?

How many young guards do you think, are patterning their offensive game after Sam Cassell? Yeah, probably none, but a lot of them should be.

Amare and Gilbert both struggling with surgically repaired knees. I think both players are going to be fighting those injuries all season.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I don't think Amare's surgery was as big as Gilbert's. Arthroscopic seems to be more routine know and I know Kobe just had it a while ago. I think he just came back too quickly. I think Arenas came back too quickly as well, but his was a more serious surgery.

Celtics look ridiculously good right now. They made the Nuggets look silly tonight. Didn't look at the game personally, but saw the highlights on SC. Is it too early to hand them the EC?

He hits big threes... But he doesn't win.

GG...damn you Deron. The King is struggling from the field and line, but 32/15/11 with 2 blocks and 2 steals is a damn good night on the road.

Every team plays the exact same schedule as all of their conference opponents aside from 1 or 2 games. So the division really doesn't matter.

LMAO. I like Lebron. I think he lives up to the hype, and is everything people say he is(well, most people anyway). It's a credit to him that people expect him to be better than he is at age 22. But he has to wrap up this freethrow thing asap. It's getting out of hand. Ever since he pulled that crap against Gilbert, it seems like his freethrows get worse and worse. He is too good going to the basket to be a bad freethrow shooter. I still see some rotten defensive decisions too. He's getting blocks, and that looks good in the box score, but he's got to improve his on the ball D to take it to the next level. Lebron has set the bar high, but his competition is stiff. He's got Wade, Melo, Durant (on the way), Paul, Deron & Booze and several others in his age group. Lebron isn't the only phenom in the league and he has to do a lot to stay ahead.
