I agree with everything stated above. Michael is actually playing better than Kobe since turning 40.

MJ is once again on another level. Lets see someone discredit, or put another player on the level he is now. He's 40, and playing like an all-star, scoring like the young guys are, and making an impact in the league at "40" on a sub-par team.

I just don't buy the "tarnished legacy theory" comparing him to guys who stayed in the league too long, and showed it.You can see it when he runs up the court, he has a bounce in him that seems almost impossible for a 40 yr old, but by doing what he is, he has once again separated himself from the one's he's being compared to.

The thing is, last year he was being almost mocked for not having the lift. (when he missed the dunk during the all star game) But this year, it is definately more evident. He is starting to really elevate on his shots, and is dunking it pretty easily. Glad to see that he is getting better as the season goes.

51 minutes in the last game... that's good for anyone.

Some people were waiting to criticize him. I say he didn't have the lift because he was probably injured more than not. I still think he has done something we can't really appreciate enough right now. He not only loves the game, but knows how to play, and could care less about being the only ESPN highlight.

Pretty amazing how a guy 40 years old can still run with the best of em, and still entertain, and amaze us all at the same time.

30ppg at 40 is unreal, no matter who you are.

He is one of the most entertaining players when he gets "on". When you see a 40 year old guy, that used to be the best, turn it on, and begin to look like when he was in his prime; it's exciting. I love when he does the up and under the defenders, usually two guys and does the little bank shot.
