Mavs fans we must understand that we are in a no win situation because of the tremendous upset that happen last season. Even if we would've killed them by 30 and Dirk went off for 50, we would still be having this conversation. A win is a win. The Mavs are 4-1 and G state is 0-5, thats what matters right now. These teams may or may not cross paths in the playoffs. We can't change the past, but I am glad that we got the W. That is what matters the most, especially on the road in the west.

LMAO.. are the Warriors going to make the playoffs this year? Someone needs to tell them that the 2007-08 season has started. They have yet to win a game. It's a new season, and last year doesnt mean much. last year is last year

Yeah they have yet to win a game and they've played 5 games, so that must mean they can't make the playoffs. I didn't know the playoff race was on. Man you are bitter, it almost seems you hope the Warriors don't make it.

Except that the Mavs CAN'T dominate the Warriors like that, so if they did I wouldn't be saying what I am saying. The MAVS SHOULD have dominated the game, yet Golden State came out and had about as good a chance to win the game as the Mavs...which is why I said "I'd still take the Warriors in a 7 game series." How do you argue against that? The Mavs are what 4-14 against the Warriors or is it 4-10? Either way the Warriors seem to have the advantage against the Mavs when playing them and History proves that.

As long as Avery starts a real center and doesn't try and coach, the Mavs will beat the Warriors in a 7 game series.

But Avery is an idiot and would probably play the MVP out of position again to start a series.

He started Dampier and Diop in every game after the first game. It made no difference. Warriors just match up well against the Dallas and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
