    Basketball Tricks of the Trade

I've watched Kobe play a few times this year and one of his favorite moves he goes with to get easy points is:

When in the triple threat position, he gives a couple of subtle fakes, when the defender extends his hand in front of Kobe's face. He just brings his arms up into the defenders arm and gets free throws. I used to hate Tim Duncan for doing that to Rasheed Wallace all the time back when he was in Portland.

The defender is standing stationary with an arm outstreched, how can he possibly ever defend the quick jumper if he can't even put his hand up?

This move along with the "head fake the defender into the air and then jump into him" . Makes it pretty tough to play defense in the nba

Note: Darko still sucks, he has absolutely no posts moves at all. If he gets the ball he will shoot the left handed hook 100000% percent of the time. I have never seen him make it.

Didn't Odom just did that to his teammate Bynum?
