Top 5 "Shouldve Stayed Together" Teams

These are of course more recent teams....
but these are teams I think that could have continued to be dominant, or would have eventually been a force to be reckoned with if they stayed together...

    1. The Kobe and Shaq Lakers
    2. The Bibby,Peja,Webber,Chrisite Kings
    3. The Camby,T-Mac Vince Raptors*

    4. The Nash,Johnson,Amare Suns
    5. The Artest,Oneal,Miller Pacers

*- correct me if they didnt have Camby as well but I think they did

    can you think of any?

I don't think Camby ever played with Vince but I could be wrong(I'll look it up). And I think Sac was right to break up that team Chris was done after that injury against the Mavs.
I kno so much about the NBA I should work 4 ESPN!!!!

Camby only played with T-Mac and to be honest Camby wasn't much of anything back then. In fact, his nickname in Toronto was Marcus Candy because he kept getting injured.

The T-Mac/Carter combo should've stuck together for a while though.

I also would've liked to see how much further Shaq and Penny would've gone had Shaq not gone to LA. Was Penny already getting injury problems by that time?

You guys really dont see the Kings going back to the finals if they kept that team together?

The Cavs of Price, Daugherty, Nance, Hot Rod Williams and Ron Harper. They made it to the ECF's in 1992, but they could've won some titles if they hadn't traded Harper for Danny Ferry.

            They could've beaten the Bulls?

I don't like I said before he was done after that injury or atleast being the #1 and Peja and Mike are and were not #1's.

No real evidence to think they would have stopped. It's possible they would have kept winning until the 2nd retirement which would have been, what, 8 titles? 9?

They took them to 6 games with Craig Ehlo guarding Jordan. Having the athletic Harper guarding MJ (plus forcing MJ to expend more energy on D) could've made a huge difference.

Which teams are you talking about the early 90's team or the late 90's?

Ah yes... The dreaded micro-fracture surgery. Samething Oden needed too.

The Wolves after our western conferance championship loss. But alas, Sprewell had to feed his family...
