Nice thread, guys. I've been into jerseys since I was knee-high. There used to be a place called Carl Anderson's Locker Room in DC that I used to go to and look at the jerseys. Never got one (no loot) but my Mom did the next best thing: She went to K-Mart, bought a cheap red tank top with blue piping , got some iron letters and numbers, and presto! A Darryl Dawkins number 53 Sixers "replica" jersey. Oh, how we did it back in the day....

Last thing. I went to the Redskins tent sale today. Actual game worn jerseys for $25 and like 75% off all their other gear. You should check with your local pro team. Every year they sell all their used equipment (pants, jerseys, training camp stuff, etc.)
