FAST FACTS: Poll was completed before O'Neal was traded from the Heat to the Suns last week.... Bryant particularly unnerves forwards, who gave him more than 41% of their vote.... Among players 35 and older, 63% voted for Bryant, who led the league in points, field goals and field goal attempts this season, as well as the last two.

This is an expanded version of the NBA poll from the February 18, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated.

First, he's 7'1". Second, Shaq is weaker than used to be and he can't back down like he used to. Anyway, height and weight is not what makes a player intimidating, the NBA isn't WCW. Or maybe I don't understand what the word "scares" means - does it mean: make u be afraid or makes u think u can't stop the guy from scoring?

I thought it might be LeBron before entering because he can just run you over and bully you around, somehting Kobe can't do.

But I guess when you do everything right defensively and Kobe hits nothing but net that could be frustrating.

Maybe they should start a different poll..."Which player scares the fans sitting in the audience the most?"

...I mean c'mon now. Is it just me, or does Stephen Jackson always appear to be on the brink of wanting to fight somebody on the court. Plus Dude got suspended five games on gun charges to start the season. Stephen Jackson would definitely get my vote.

I don't think they meant to players that physically scares u, but players that can dominant u or score on u. That's my guess. Otherwise, why would Bryant be the first in the list?
