What may have been most distressing to the Bulls was Duhon's reaction after Sunday's game.

Well to be fair anyone who plays at Duke is Dicky V's golden boy. Besides it isn't like he wasn't a punk at Duke, boosters gave his mother a job beyond her skill set and a salary beyond that of others with the same job for him to attend Duke. So we know he doesn't exactly come from the best moralistic upbringing.

Heck, his contract is up anyway at the end. I can see why he said that. I'd be surprised if they kept him in town. No offense but the front office has been really slacking with their respect towards their players. So much more garbage going on than people can really understand. I mean, if you look from the beginning of the season, the minutes have been so lost in translation. Not to mention the signings that didn't happen with Gordon & Deng as well as the Noah fiasco and all the stuff in between. Skiles getting fired. I'm on Du's side with this one. He's keeping it honest and gets attacked for it. Heck, I'd do that same thing myself if I saw that the FO wasn't loyal to me. Players always have to stay in line even though they're the first ones to get attacked for the stupidity that goes on in the organization.

I think a more appropriate response would have been along the lines of "The loss is disappointing, but even more so because I have to watch it from the bench and am unable to contribute because I don't get any playing time."

He is being honest... but I don't think the attitude he's showing is going to get him any more minutes on the floor.

I'm trying to remember when I heard this stuff like this in baseball or football.

Either way, Duhon shows he's not a good business man either because this will reflect negatively on him when it comes to negotiating his next contract regardless of what team he plays for.

This is not new in pro sports. Every athlete that is not given time to show their talent has complained in every sport.

I don't think he missed the shootaround to be at the game. I think he overslept after he got back from the game and then missed the shootaround.

Sounds like the Bulls have some major issues in that locker room, especially a lack of leadership. Bringing in a selfish guy like Larry Hughes isn't going to help things. Sounds like even though Big Ben had his problems in Chicago, he was well-respected in the locker room.

You heard it when Randy Moss admitted he takes plays off. There is no problem with this. Tons of players in every sport on every level feel this way. Just because one man says it doesn't mean there's a problem.

I know people like to think that everyone is respectful and "classy", but that's not the way it works. And considering every other day someone here complains about something their boss did, how someone's son was hired just because he was a hireups kid, or someone is getting paid for work they don't deserve, it's hypocritical.

I don't see the problem w/what he said. I don't get the feeling among employers today that feels they can make their employees unhappy & yet not hear about their feelings. They patronize you by getting your "feedback", then proceed to ignore your expressions. "You're important to them", "We want a happy work environment". What they want is for you to give them your free will an unquestioned obedience. The guy doesn't feel wanted, important, or part of the franchise's future. Deal w/it or deal him.

My job isn't great, but it feeds my son, and sometimes in life that's good enough. I don't need to feel "appreciated" by my superiors. As long as my checks don't bounce, I'll keep showing up.

The guy was late to work. Big whoop! And if you don't care about anything but the check clearing, why should Duhon be any different?
