Big difference. These guys are getting paid millions (3 in his case) to also represent their team, and that includes to the media.

If someone asked me with a mic and camera in my face how I felt about our performance at work today, the last thing I'd do is bad mouth my employer...even if it's how I really felt. It's unprofessional, and it's immature. And to say you don't care if the team you play for, the team that signs your checks, that you don't care if they win or lose makes you look like an *** in my opinion. Even if you believe it.

I'm pretty undecided on this topic, but it's rarely valid to compare our jobs/careers with a pro athlete's.

Actually you know what I'll change my tune and back up Duhon on this one. If for no other reason than I once said something similar to one of my own coaches. It was my junior year and I wasn't playing that much, although the coach's pets who sucked were. Our position coach was bitching us all out for the previous game and I actually said why are you blaming everyone here when it is only their fault, alluding to the starters. One of my coaches backed me up actually, but needless to say I didn't get much more playing time the rest of the year.

I said the same thing when the RB coach blamed the OL for not opening up holes, despite the fact on the play in question the RB had a hole he could drive a tank through untouched and he hit the wrong hole.

Hey if you guys like players that don't care if they win or lose playing for your teams, then more power to you.

I guess these days you get more credit for sharing your feelings, then sucking it up and cashing your 3 mill with a smile. Brave new world and all that.

I'm trying to remember when I heard this stuff like this in baseball or football.

Either way, Duhon shows he's not a good business man either because this will reflect negatively on him when it comes to negotiating his next contract regardless of what team he plays for.

why are you surprised? I'm on his side too .. aren't you exaggerating a bit?

And if you knew you were about to take your services elsewhere, your speech to & about your employer wouldn't be "spicier"? Especially if you were leaving because you felt disrespected & unwanted? The man is doing what every American would @ least want to do if it was in their power. The amount of salary has no bearing on that.

Who said we liked it? I'm saying I can put myself in the other guy's shoes. If I were in his situation I'd might feel the same way. You act like getting alot of money should have an effect on your happiness. There have been a number of millionaires who've committed suicide & been clinicly depressed.

We complain about athletes giving canned/cliche answers to questions. So when we get an original one. We complain. I'm a Dukie, and may be biased, but I'd rather hear that and know it's honest. Than hear Asante Samuels answer of "I just want to get back to the Super Bowl!" in regards to the question of why leave the Pats to join the Eagles, was it the money?

One of the Warrior's beat writers brought up in his blog that Duhon would be the perfect back up point for GS next year. IDK if it'll happen, but I like it.

Duhons a joke. He isnt derserving of an NBA spot.

This type of behavior is gross. I live in chicago and have seen Duhon at a night club called Reserve till 4 am when he had a game the next day.

I was at that game the next day. Remeber the one that he blew last year? Turnover in the final seconds when we had a shot for the win? cant remeber specifics.

He was hungover for sure, cause I know i was, and he was drinkin.

And his posse of girls was gross fat white girls.

I gurantee his weak sauce *** was looking for tail after the UNC-DUKE game and he was partying hard.
