KG with the exclamation point. Nice game tonight, Powe had a huge game off the bench. All around a solid game
Seriously...22 games, 2nd longest streak in NBA history and Tmac was a big reason why.

What KG did was stupid though, he did that during garbage time. Than he goes down and dunks again, I'm sorry if I'm a scrub player i'm giving him a hard foul for that ish.

The Rockets can go out there and continue to play now without the pressure of keeping the streak alive.

If Im a Rockets fan, i'd have to be pretty darn proud of this team the way they fought from 10th place to 1st place in a brutal west and obtained a record of 31-4? in the year 2008.

Alas, all of those 48 minute games would eventually catch up, and you can't be on fire forever.
Best part about it for Houston is that they're still in 1st place with LA, but owns the season series.

yeah, this loss should be looked at as a relief from the pressure of keeping the streak alive. Now everyone can relax and stop paying attention to a long streak. The rockets really need to keep their heads in the game, and who knows, maybe they can end the season on a high note.

I can't wait to see how they(Rockets) bounce back.

But I have to say this I can't stand the Houston Rocket fanbase these people are so fickle, all those folks leaving the game early without giving the team a standing O who cares if they got worked tonight they went on a unbelieveable run give them some love. Then onto the idiots on clutchfans one minute they love McGrady the next minute they hate him and he's back to being 'McLazy'

I don't go to Clutchfans...but it was like close to 11:00 in Houston, people leave early all the time in games like that so they don't get caught up in horrible traffic. I've seen games where the Rox blow out teams and the crowd leaves early.

The team knows that the fans appreciate what they did, but people gots to work and Kids gots to go to school. I bet some of those people got home at around midnight in that traffic.

Like the others have said, Houston can now focus on the BIG PICTURE instead of trying to keep the streak alive. The next 3 games are crucial for Houston.

On another note, their lack of size really showed in this game. Landry definitely could've helped them out since he's their most athletic "big-man."

I didn't know you were on CF too. I noticed it as well. It was all praise and MVP threads when we were winning. Now...

                      Oh well.

Living in Rhode Island I don't see the Rockets much. The biggest problem I see going forward for them is lack of scoring. Unless McGrady scores a lot this team just doesn't have enough firepower to get far in the playoffs. Maybe the can win a 1st round series but I can't see them getting past the second round.

Props to the Celts. If they stay healthy they are clearly the favorite to win it all.

At least now we won't hear any more of that "Houston doesn't need Yao" nonsense certain clueless individuals have been spouting for the last couple weeks. Without Yao, Houston has no real inside presence. Boston ruthlessly exploited that fact at both ends of the floor.

Would've been a better game if Chuck Hayes wouldnt have blown so many point blank layups from pinpoint passes.

I think he's the worst pro i've seen period. He cant shoot ft's, he can't make layups, so eventually the team is playing 4 on 5 when he's in the game.

They needed Landry bad, but you could tell they didnt have the energy to keep going last night.

The Rockets really need a big PF who can play because Chuck Hayes should be the 4th guy coming off the bench. I've never seen a 6'6 guy who couldnt put the ball in the hoop standing right under it. You're practically inches away from the rim at that height.

BTW, Boston's defensive coach and old Rockets defensive assistant Tom Thibodeau knows the Rockets.

He had Tmac trapped by two and three players at the top of the key, because he knows nobody else can really create their own shot.

This is the reason Rox fans were wailing Rudy Gay being traded for so little. They still need that 3rd scorer on their team because once McGrady is trapped like he was last night the other guys look lost out there.
