Where are all the Shaq bashers now

While the Rockets were streaking the Suns quietly righted the ship and are now a 1/2 game back out of first place. They are currently on a 6 game win streak and seemed to have found a flow as a squad. All the experts who over reacted over a handful of games seemed to be quiet under the same amount of games.

EXACTLY!!! I told everyone when they made this move is that they made the trade for Shaq for the playoffs, and he would acclimate himself to the system by playoff time and sure enough, the ship is righted. I'm not a suns fan, but I do like Shaq and I think they are going to make some noise in the playoffs...

I love Shaq but the season isn't over just yet. I'm not sure this will last. I need to see them in action against a solid team televised. I'm glad that he's still doing his thing though. So does this mean that he has a few more years left in the tank?

Wasnt the game against San Antonio on Sunday televised? Im no Suns fan but they have won 6 in a row and have beaten both San Antonio and Golden State. Their next 3 games are against Houston, Detroit and Boston so that will surely show how good they are right now atleast, and after that they play Philly whom they lost to back on March 1st. Cant wait for the playoffs to get here.

I think the suns are flowing, but it depends on how they do against the next few teams.

Agreed man, and quite honestly, im getting sick of these so called analyst.

They are nothing but people paid for their opinions and most of them ride eachothers bandwagon. Whoever makes the first prediction they all follow like a train wreck waiting to happen.

Everything is so instant gratification nowadays its nauseating.

To be honest, I couldn't be happier right now, because I really wouldn't mind the Suns going all the way this year. I think the people overreacting at first were a lot of Suns fans, just becaue they were upset their team was playing bad lately, and so just venting out because of their care for their team. Now, they're happy, but I don't think they're going to fill up the boards with "SUNS ARE THE BEST" threads just yet, but this is a good start...
If analysts were talking like that, well, we're all used to the "what have you done for me lately" line...

Still not impressed. The Spurs win was nice but it was at home. They have 3 wins over Memphis, Sacramento and Seattle and 2 against GS and Portland. You can only play against the teams on your schedule but its not like any of the teams above them should be worried about them in April.

BUT, you have to start somewhere. That's one thing that isn't acknowledged. You start to mesh against the lower levels and then everything starts to unfold. We'll definitely see how it turns out. Kind of messed up too because if the Suns face the Celtics, there will be only one winner.

True, I just dont think that this 6 game winning streak means the Shaq trade bashers were wrong. There are no games against Memphis or Seattle in the playoffs.

They were wrong for blowing the entire thing off too fast. The evidence they had were a few loses, but now that you see them winning, those people aren't so talkative nowadays.

Besides that, all of the "Oh Shaq can't run,They won't mesh, Shaq is totally washed up" all of that was incorrect.

I think the Suns problems are due to depth now rather than Shaq, and that's the cheapskate owners fault.

                          1. As said, the streak is against pretty lame teams aside from SA. While GS and Portland are solid, that's not who they'll be playing in the playoffs. They beat Houston, Detroit, and Boston and we can talk.

                          2. It's not so much about this year, but in the future. They aren't winning the chip this year; it's just not happening, and it probably wouldn't with Shaq or with Marion. However, if Marion leaves after the season, they at least have some money. Instead, they took on the worst contract in the league for the next two years. That's why most of us think it's a stupid trade.
