You should probably pick a different video if you're gonna argue that CP could give it to Skip in streetball. Considering that he traveled on the first move (3 steps) and got it stolen on the second move. And the third drive was very close to being a travel (looks like he took 3 steps again, although it's very quick).

I realize in streeball guys carry all the time but they usually don't go around taking extra steps.

Its no doubt CP3 is a better pont guard, but he couldn't handle Skip on the Playground. If you've never seen him play on the playground please dont comment.

I've seen Skip and several of the And 1 Mixtapes. I haven't seen Chris Paul play streetball. That being said, I take Chris Paul. Why? Because it's still the game of basketball and fundamentals will beat out flash everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. You know who else I haven't seen play streetball? Dwight Howard, Shawn Marion, Lebron, and Kobe. But if you put those four, along with CP3, up against ANYBODY who plays streetball, I'm taking the NBA players by about 60.

Bottom line, Chris Paul is a better basketball player, regardless of the style, than Rafer Alston all day long. Is he as flashy? Probably not. But even in streetball, it's not who gets the most oooh's and ahhh's who wins. It's who gets the most points.

Yes, I believe that's what the topic was about if it comes down to that Skip would roll on CP3. Obviously, if it's just NBA and fundamentals and such CP3 would roll on Skip.

In any game where the person who scores the most points wins, I'm not seeing how Skip would win. What does he do better than CP3 in ANY basketball game? If tricks gets you points, I'll give it to you. But if you're still playing to points, I can't see how you can pick against CP3. Again, how is Rafer better at anything that would help him win? I see Paul as quicker, more precise, a better shooter, a better penetrator, a better defender, and a better decision maker. Do you disagree with any of these? Rafer is taller by 2 inches, but that's not much.

In streetball, the flashier you are, the louder the crowd cheers for you. So the flashiest and most successful at it really has homecourt and that gets the other guy pissed off and he makes mistakes

You are right about the first statement, but I'm not so sure the second would apply to Paul. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he has heard his share of boo's in college and the league. Would it rattle him? Doubt it.

Chris Paul would run Alston on any arena on any planet.

Alston may be a "streetball legend", but the only way to become a "streetball legend" in today's world is if you're too much of a bum to play in the NBA.

Why do you think AO didn't make his tryouts a few years ago? If he's better than Marion, don't you think he could at least crack a roster?
