That not only makes no sense whatsoever but this has absolutely nothing to do with Kobe. Keep him out of this thread because he can only make a bad situation worse.

It was just as bad for him to scour every radio station he could in one day and dump all over his teammates, and GM and the owner so give me a major break.

Lol, but now that you made that little comment at the end people are definitely not going to keep Kobe out of here.

That's up to them but its no different, and from the time LA won their 2nd ring both of them have been jerks.

Its like these guys are acting all shocked when some of them good and well made excuses for the guy when he was here in LA doing it.

I don't know what Shaq's problem is but he's always been like that since LA won their 2nd ring of that 3 peat.

          Good points.

IMO Shaq has ruined his legacy.

Pat Ewing can go to a game at MSG and get a standing ovation...

Dream and Clyde are superheros when they go back to Houston.

MJ will always be a god in Chicago...even Pip made peace there and is now home again.

          Magic in LA.

But Shaq...he's got nowhere to go. They boo him in Orlando...hate him in LA...

Miami was a chance to have a place to go post retirement and be worhsipped...but he's burning his legacy there also.

People don't hate Shaq in LA.

It does get under Kobe fans skin though when you tell them Shaq was the main reason they won those championships.

              .

It's hard to imagine Shaq sitting courtside with Magic Johnson at Laker games in a few years time though.

He really doesn't have a team that that he can 'come home' to post retirement.

I'm posting this as a regular guy that visits the forums. The comment that Dre posted has everything to do with the thread. Because Pat Riley was horrible in his moving players, the Heat have turned upside down within a year of winning their championship. Their future is horrible. Even if Shaq was traded, Riley said that he wasn't planning on trading Shaq at anytime this season if I remember articles correctly.

Personally, Shaq loss respect from me because he brought in names of players who were casualties in this whole situation. However, it does Quinn some good to have his name out there. Some fans might be more aware of Quinn's skills. Only two ways for him to take this. Either to improve his skills and stay in the league, OR fold and exit. We'll see how it goes.

Shaq's a clown... if he ever worked as hard as a fringe player like Quinn does... he'd probably be the best center of all-time. But he's a lazy turd and his drop in production and overall value is reflective of that. I can't wait to see him fail in Phoenix.

mvspree - he has 4 rings, and that's saying more than most players who enter the nba since its beginning can say.

I don't care if Riley brough in the likes of Davis and some undrafted players. That does not give Snaq carte blanche to go disrespecting players like that. He should be ashamed of himself.

Wasn't the reason for my response. You said that the thing Dre wrote had nothing to do with the thread but I wrote the reason it did. Riley put them in that situation by putting the wrong players around Shaq and Wade. Then he has a horrible season and wants to look good by trading Shaq away. They also didn't demand moroe out of Shaq when he was there. Even though he won that team a championship, he should have worked a bit harder. I honestly say I loss respect for Shaq when he disrespected Quinn. However, I am eager to see Quinn prove Shaq wrong by improving his skill levell, mental awareness, intelligence for the game and not be known associated with degradation by a future HOFer. That's just my $.02

I came in this thread prepared to laugh at another shaq quote but damn he did Quinn dirty.I understand the pieces weren't there, especially with wade playing injured, but no reason for dude to put that on any of the players.

And LOL at Pat. He probably knows mike beasleys phone number, favorite cereal, and his mothers sisters cousins uncle's name by now.

Will always be a fan of shaq, but he definitely couldve handled that better. Come on big fella!

Yeah, Riley...Giving a clearly declining Shaq a ridiculous, bloated extension and taking on a glut of big contracts for old players in order to bring South Beach a 'chip was a freaking hooooorrible long term decision. Funny though...I don't recall Snaq complaining when he did it. Lol. While he was happily running a great coach out of town for calling him on his legendary regular season slacking, and really wanted to show Sonny Corleone and Benedict Arnold he could win without them, he was perfectly happy with Riles destroying this teams salary situation to win now. And ummm....Who were they going to bring in this year when your old a** takes up half of the friggin' cap, and the organization just gave a max deal to Miami's real star?

BTW, Rileys roster moves were a GREAT reason to slam the medical staff.
