The thing here isn't so much that they wanted to take their ball and go home. The vast majority of the people always assumed that was their ultimate goal, and their destruction of this franchise has spoken louder than any words or press releases they could make. But when e-mails like this come out showing that they blatantly lied to basically everyone involved, from the mayor to the governor to business leaders, to the NBA, including Stern? That's really, REALLY bad. It's bad for Bennett, and it's bad for the NBA. There is more to come on this too, and it could get a lot uglier in the coming days/weeks/months. Whether Stern or the NBA likes it or not, they have a real mess on their hands that could turn into a PR nightmare the longer this goes on. The city or the governor aren't about to back down now.Comment

I would expect nothing less from Clay Bennett. He's been a dirty rat since day 1Comment

Thats the true meaning of ownership, when you own something you have the right within particular regulations and or guidelines to do what you feel.Originally posted by kbmnm247god, idiotsComment
