Shaq is a moron and Iverson is not one of the top 5 players in the game at the moment. Garnett, TD, Kobe, T-Mac, Kidd, Pierce, Nowitzki, Shaq (etc) are better than AI. Iverson plays with more heart and determination than any other player in the league and is a phenomenal talent however he is not in the top 5. The fact that he can have such a huge impact despite being so small in stature is a credit to him, but it is also the reason he isn't one of the top five players in the league. If Iverson was 6-6, 6-7 then he would be an even better defender, way better rebounder, could get better looks at the bucker which = better fg percentage and would be a better overall player.

So are you saying that just because he is short he can't be a top 5 player? He's only about 6 feet tall and has solid averages around 28, 5 and 5, which is very good for someone his height.

You missed my point. My point is Iverson would be a more dominant player if he was bigger, why is that so hard to believe. If MJ was 6 feet tall instead of 6'6 he would still be a great player (like Iverson is) but he wouldn't be considered the greatest player of all time which is the current popular (if misguided) belief.

No, I didn't contradict myself, I was pointing out that he is only 6 feet tall, and IMO is a top 5 NBA player, where as you were saying he's ONLY 6 feet tall, and as a result isn't a top 5 player.

It's a very "stupid" way of looking at things, in my opinion.

I mean it's like saying If Shawn Bradley was 350 lbs. instead of 270, he then could contend with Shaquille O'neal, but instead he's just an ok 2nd string role player.
