    nba 2k3

What is the best way to get your players to catch the ball in stride instead of them stopping when your throw to them?

turn on maximum passing, and use icon passing.

I got max on and I use Icon to. Are the Nets the only team on the game where the pg acutally orchestrates the break, usually on other teams my pg is so far behind that the other players are at the other end before I can outlet to my pg? But with the Nets Kidd catches the ball far enough so that he is not to far behind and can dish off to the wings instead of having to throw a 3/4 court pass.

that has to do with a combination of the crash board and game tempo settings of both teams. If your crash boards is low then the SG and SF will release instead of going in. If it's low on the other team then they'll get back on defense quicker. If your game tempo is low the PG will ALWAYS come back to get the ball rather than just when they don't see an opportunity to run.

Each team has a default setting that probably needs to be adjusted. I think the Nets and Mavs are the only ones that have a decent one by default. Icon passing works well and in certain situations so does the right analog stick.
