I try and watch them on NBA league pass late night but their lack of team defense usually turns turns me off from watching them.... Honestly JR is a great talent I would love to still have him with the Hornets but he couldnt make that Transition that Julian Wright did which was do the little things Scott asked of him to do so he could get a chance to see more PT to showcase his talent. Plus his shot selection is still suspect from the games I have watched him play for Denver.

Towards the end of the season, he was the most consistent threat aside form Iverson to take it to the hoop. He wasn't chucking up threes unless he was wide open or feeling it. He throws up a decent amount of "heat check" shots, but he makes the craziest bull**** shots you're ever seen, so I don't even consider them bad shots.. Heh, seems like he makes threes when he's getting fouled or smothered more than when he's wide-*** open. Love that dude.

But yeah, when he's consistently driving to the hoop (which started in the game in San Antonio... they absolutely couldn't hang with his athleticism and he knew it), he's borderline unstoppable. He finishes through contact very well and has quite the layup arsenal to go along with his absolutely nasty hops. If they played him with Melo/AI, their lives would be so much easier... Playing with Anthony Carter makes their lives tougher..

EDIT: Sorry for posting the same video twice.. I can't remove the damn thing apparently.. this board is so strange sometimes.

He was an absolute monster in this game -- 43 off the bench in 33 minutes (which is how many he SHOULD be getting nightly), including 23 in the 4th quarter... the falling 3-pointer at 5:47 is nutty:
