Re: It\'s March, and as usual the NBA is...(with the exception of Chicago)
We try and keep nice boards here without too much arguments and flaming. College players play for the name on the front of the jersey (some of them don't even have a name on the back) many will not be playing at the next level but they have fun and play hard here. They don't get paid (well most of them don't) so there is no reason to play but fun and the love of the game. Some NBA players play for money and don't play their hardest. Also fans are able to get more into it because of the feeling of possesion, Many people have connections to colleges and universities but not many to NBA teams. This is why I don't think the NBA will ever match college hoops.Texas Tech, Red Sox, FC Dallas and Reading supporterComment

Before it gets outta hand its just opinions, to each there own, but no need in the bashing of the other person, just a mild warning at this point.
Back to the subject, I agree that NBA is and can be very
The best part of the NBA game is the last quarter because at least by that time there tends to be some excitment in trying to finish the win.
Even without this being March, the college game is tons more entertaining. ITs all about the atmosphere and the rabid fans. Its about actually playing as a team for one single goal, instead of battling egos.

NBA is insanely boring IMO. in college the guys are playing for the love of the game, not like in the nba where that are being payed to play. that is with the exception of a few college teams.

Re: It\'s March, and as usual the NBA is...(with the exception of Chicago)
I like to watch a lot of Old games like Larry Birds Celtics V. Magic's Lakers, and I liked to watch the old Bad Boys, those were the good days of the NBA, even though I wasnt even born when some of those things were happening. Now the NBA is all about, "Hey I can outscore you, who cares if I take forty shots". MOST players really dont care if their team wins as long as their stat sheet looks good. I think part of the problem with the NBA is there are too many regular season games, which makes teams think, when you play 82 games the games arent as meaninful as only playing 30...I think part of the excitment with March Maddness is the aspect of being One and Done. If you have a bad performance it could make your team lose, which makes players give it their all, in the NBA its a best outta 7, if you play a bad game, O well there is always next game...
IMO College is way better than the NBA. I just dont see the emotion when watching the NBA...Comment
