Which rookies are you looking the most forward to watching?

For me it's definitely Mayo and Gallinari.

OJ's game is just nice to watch. It screams NBA player. Rose and Beasley seem to get getting more hype, but I wouldn't be surprised if OJ has a monster season. I really think he's going to have a great career.

Gallinari seemed solid from the little bit that I've got to see him play. Seems a little fragile, but I'm sure they can build up his strength a bit more. Anybody that can shine some light on my miserable Knicks is a welcome addition. Hopefully he doesn't crumble under the NY pressure.

Beasley, Bayless, Anthony Randolph (can his body hold up and actually contribute?), Oden, Mayo. I also want to see if the Wizards can get something from that freakish lank of JaVale McGee. I love players like that haha.. big gangly ****ers coming out of nowhere to block shots with their forearm.

As much as I didn't want the Knicks to draft him, I think OJ Mayo is going to be a beast.

I hate to say that in a few years, I think he can become Dwyane-Wadeish.

? Mayo doesn't attack the rack 1/10th the way Wade can.. not to mention Mayo can't penetrate yet.

I can't really see a comparison for Mayo yet, but it's definitely not Wade. Mayo's shot is already wetter than Wade's both from deep and midrange wise.

Greg Oden is a rookie because he hasn't played in a official NBA game yet.

Key words being- "in a few years"

And the comparisons are definitely there. It took Wade around his 2nd year to become that incredible slasher/and-one type combo guard. He didn't come into the league getting to the FT line 8+ times a game as a rookie.

Mayo's not a pure point and neither is Wade. Once Mayo starts putting on some more weight, forget about it. With no hand-checking rules, he'll become that same "type" of player.

Other than the fact that they're the same size, and that neiter are point guards, their skillsets are are very different.
