I think I will choose Yao since he is more of a complete player then the rest and for what he had to go through and still be able to provide a solid contribution for his team.

Yeah i would probably take Yao but Amare will be a an awesome player for many years to come. Right now though the lack of quality centres means that Yao is close to being one of the most desirable young players in the league because he will be a force in the middle and truely dominate in the future. I just hopes he continues to develope and dosen't succumb to injuries.

I have to go with Amare as my favorite. That kid is the first guy out of high school that ive seen tear it up in the NBA. Yao is gonna be one of the best centers in the league when Shaq retires, we'll have to see how Darko pans out. And I love what Caron Butler is doing, he was my pick for Rooke of The Year, looks like hes gonna finish 3rd.Comment

One of the main reasons Yao is a favorite to win it this year is because of the hype he brought with him . .
He has the skill to go along with it, but still, without the hype, he'd just be another center to get beasted on by Shaq.Comment
