are really stupid. With players like Ricky Davis already diminishing the view of the intelligence of basketball players Mr. Lue decides to equate the Wizards playoff hunt to the upcoming war . I love the NBA but it gets worse by the day.

I didn't know that trying to get the last playoff spot for a so-so basketball team is the same as a war where people are going to die.

I tell ya some athletes live such a charmed life that they can't even bother to see the realities of the world.

The sad part is that he probably didn't even understand what was wrong with what he said. I mean when I played sports we used like going to war with your time mat or its war time but I mean if you don't watch the news coverage of the war starting and get a erie feeling your just really dumb. I just think it was taken out of context a bit. I don't think he was trying to say that his game with the Wizards was as big as the war in Iraq. Athletes just need to watch what they say a little better.
